Are you excited to lead the Product Management of the Stainless Steel Tanks portfolio of products within the Hot Water and Solar Solutions? This is what we see as your role 

As our Product Manager you lead the Product Management of the Stainless Steel Tanks portfolio of products within the Hot Water and Solar Solutions Business Development Unit (BDU). You will be responsible for the definition and implementation of a category level BDU Product Strategy. You will create and execute a 5-year rolling Roadmap with special focus on translating customer pain points along the customer journey. Ultimately you will be responsible to ensure that the right product, for the right customer at the right price is developed and supported by the right go to market strategy in each market. The incumbent is the Product owner for their Category.

Along with the primary responsibility you will also be successful in the following: 

  • Develop and deliver the strategic product roadmap and objectives as outlined in the BDU Business strategy
  • Rationalise and manage the product portfolio to realise the growth ambitions. You will look for synergies across OpCos, manufacturing sites and Trade suppliers to drive incremental growth and enhance margin.
  • Deliver Product assets to ensure BDR Thermea wins the Energy transition.
  • Predict future market dynamics to ensure the product offering delivers maximum value and retains market relevance
  • Collate and leverage market intelligence on across the Group (incl. market trends, legislation, competition, voice of customer)
  • Work collaboratively with Country Business Development, Product Marketing, R&D and After-Sales to identify and exploit tactical opportunities for business growth
  • Support the country Product Marketing resources
  • Support robust management of the NPD process, identify problems and find solutions e.g. changes existing processes, systems or products, improve and adapt existing methods. You will take ownership for delivery of NPD definition documents (DPR & Business case)
  • Support Group Marketing/PM projects at Group level participating in meetings, knowledge sharing tools by sharing market/business information and ‘best-practices’.

Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include 

  • You hold at least a Bachelor degree in Marketing  
  • Excellent communication skills in English 
  • At least 5 years project management experience within an international, technical environment 
  • Global and strategic thinker with a ‘can-do’ attitude 
  • Proactive, flexible, organised and attention to detail
