Full-time, Apeldoorn (The Netherlands)
We are looking for a software developer who has several years of relevant working experience. You will be working in an international team with a background in connectivity solutions (WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, GPRS, LTE-M). You will be connecting HVAC appliances and climate systems with the BDR Thermea IoT platform as enabler for new to be developed digital services.
This is what we see as your role
The purpose of this team is to develop connectivity products that will be used in single HVAC appliances and also in more complex system setups existing of heat pumps, gas heated appliances, solar solutions, ventilation and air-conditioning.
- Responsible for developing features during sprints, collaboration with international scrum team and architects
- Developing features on the connectivity platform
- Reviewing with stakeholders the delivering features
- Refining backlog items
Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include
- Master or Bachelor's degree
- Analytical skills
- Integration with IoT cloud services
- Knowledge or affinity with Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, GPRS and LTE-M Solutions
- Programming languages: C/C++, Phython
- Embedded Linux experience is an advantage
- Test-driven development

The business development unit Digital and Controls is responsible for the development of advanced controls and system management solutions for the BDR climate products including heat pumps, gas heated & electrical boilers, solar solutions, and cooling solutions. In modern climate solutions control systems, digitalization, connectivity, IoT and data are a crucial element to achieve ambitious objectives in developing customer focused comfort climate solutions which also reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. Our teams are working from Apeldoorn (NL) and Mertzwiller (France).
