This is what we see as your role

As our eCommerce manager you will play a key role in our sales & marketing organisation, creating a positive impact on business performance. This role is to drive the development of eCommerce business models and MVP’s (Minimal Viable Products), along with optimising our digital performance through data analysis and the creation of actionable insights. This position contributes to our corporate strategy by strengthening our customer intimacy, increasing lead generation and conversion to leverage sales and growth across BDR Thermea Group.

You will develop and assist with the prioritisation of eCommerce projects that are aligned to the needs of our customers, which includes all aspects of digital marketing such as websites, social media, marketing automation to transactional selling. You will be responsible for our eCommerce governance model and the main point of contact for reviewing and validating new eCommerce projects and change requests from our operating companies. In collaboration with our eCommerce MVP business leads and operating companies, you will co-ordinate the clarification of scope and business requirements for eCommerce projects. You, as the interface between business and Group IT Centre of Excellence (CoE) will work closely to deliver timely solutions and ensure functionality meets customer needs. Furthermore, you provide a common eCommerce KPI’s dashboard across the Group and create actionable insights. You develop a community of local eCommerce champions who share learnings and best practices.

In your role as eCommerce Manager, you are the spider in the web for everything related to eCommerce. You are driving the development of eCommerce business models and projects, aligned to customer needs. You bring the operating countries on the eCommerce journey with you and strengthen their digital offering. You facilitate knowledge sharing and the measurement of impact across the countries. You report to the Senior Group Brand & Customer Experience Manager. This role will play a significant part in contributing to the strategic ambition of becoming the customer’s first choice.

Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include

  • You have significant experience of being a management consultant (consulting firm) and has had business positions within industry B2B2C (client side) for at least 10 years
  • You have experience of driving and delivering eCommerce business models throughout the organization and in different countries
  • Work experience in a relevant industry is highly desired
  • You will be educated to degree level, preferably Masters
  • You can build productive working relationships and it’s essential that you can influence decision-making
  • You can think strategically, highly commercial and are customer focused
  • You have excellent leadership, collaboration and influencing skills with internal and external business stakeholders
  • Work experience in preparing business cases and defining statement of requirements/use cases
  • You are self-motivated and you take the initiative on projects with little direction
  • You can manage and lead multiple projects
  • You are highly flexible and thrive in fast-changing environment
  • You are willing to travel, engage with stakeholders across the Group
  • You are strong in communication both oral and written in English – multi-language preferred
  • It’s desirable you have experience with Sitecore, google analytics and marketing automation
