This is what we see as your role

In your role as SAP Basis Expert you will work in close partnership with the SAP Basis Team Lead, SAP Dev/Integration and SAP Functional teams to properly setup, maintain/upgrade and monitor in project mode  SAP onPremise and Cloud landscape and provide business as usual support. You’ll also manage relation with key 3rd party SAP Basis service providers to ensure SLAs are met and related services are delivered. You will work with hybrid (waterfall & agile) methodology, continuously bringing innovation of the IT solutions and rolling out the Kernel across the Group. This role will deliver a significant return to the business through performance improvement. Along with the primary responsibility you will also be successful in the following: 

• Deep dive in capabilities given by new SAP solutions and analyze with SAP teams new features to be activated 
• Communicate with 3rd party consultants and with other Group IT Teams. 
• Design best practice system setup, fine-tune the monitoring 
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders of multiple countries for specific system requirements
• Bring day-to-day support
• Support RFP process related to IT software implementation in his area
• Innovate by looking at IT software market analysis to bring value to business requirements

Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include

• You have experience maintaining SAP systems like ECC6, S/4, Solution Manager, PO, Content Server knowledge for at least 2-3 years. OS (Linux Suse & Windows) & DB (HANA, DB2, MSSQL) knowledge would be positive.
• You are knowledgeable in user management (roles including Fiori catalog setup if possible)
• You are able to build productive working relationships and influence decision-making essential
• You work effectively in a multifunctional, multicultural environment: The role requires close cooperation with people located in Europe, Asia and North America
• You preferably have a Bachelor’s in IT
• Work experience in a relevant industry is highly desired
