This is what we see as your role

Being a business oriented and forward looking Business Controller you are responsible for driving new business models, financing, challenging the business on both commercial and costs and you are looking out for the financial health of the entities for which you are responsible for. In short; you co-pilot with the business on performance and value creation and develop plans with the business to achieve strategy through negotiation, knowledge sharing and offering challenging advice.

Along with the primary responsibility you will also be successful in the following:

• Responsible for providing valuable insights into business performance and external drivers to drive decision-making and acts when required as a countervailing power
• Support the business in implement new business models (HAAS, leasing, warranty offering), including financing
• Deliver (ad-hoc) management reports for the different internal stakeholders with accurate & forward-looking information on time to improve the business and financial results of the company
• Prepare budgets, investment proposals, business plans and reports for the entity / entities responsible
• Participate in (business) review meetings and perform post investment appraisals
• Participate in performance improvement projects as well as other key group projects
• Propose and implement improvements of management information and controlling function

Your knowledge, skills, experience and character include

• Master’s degree in finance, (Business) Economics or Accounting. Preferably combined with a post-master RA/RC or equivalent
• Substantial number of years working experience, gained in a large international and/or complex company. Preferably in a manufacturing company
• Proven track record within a business or financial control role in an international organisation at head office level, but preferably also as an operating entity controller
• Senior presentation and solid discussion partner for all business levels within the organisation
• Flexible, able to meet ambitious deadlines and willing to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and cultural awareness
• Influential skills and networking
